Consul General Chen Xiaoling visited Mrs. Alice Griffths, former President of the Canadian China Society ( CCS )on December 24 2003, the Eve of Christmas. Consul General Chen Xiaoling highly appreciated the sustained efforts and remarkable contributions to the friendship and cooperation between China and Canada made by Mrs. Griffths. On behalf of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries ( CPAFFC ), Ms. Chen presented the Friendship Ambassador medal to Mrs. Griffths this June.
