Consulate General in Toronto offers assistance to contact family members and friends in Earthquake-hit area

On May 12th, an earthquake rated 7.8 magnitudes on Richter scale hit Wenchuan county, Sichuan Province, China. The earthquake caused tremendous losses of life and property. Telecommunication in some earthquake-stricken areas has been temporarily out of service due to the strong tremor. The Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Toronto offers assistance to all those who need help to learn about wellbeing of their family members, friends stranded in those areas.
